		<description>Its good to see its not just me then? Fridays, Thursdays etc etc. On the way from home its a chance to stretch the handsfree kit. Of course sometimes its David thats on the other end or Paul his partner in crime?
The good thing about ringing people at that time of night - especially if its a business owner or Gen Mgr is that firstly, they are often still in the office, so your not intruding on personal time and secondly, after whatever sort of day they&#039;ve had, a friendly voice can often be well received!
Of course the key is not to be pressing for business at that time but maybe pressing for an appointment or something that requires little commitment could be a good option. Of course if its David thats ringing, you&#039;re never really sure what you have commited to at the end of the conversation because the vocal journey is astounding - and I mean that in the best possible way!</description>

Your examples of David and Steve above remind me of another. I recently interviewed marketer Jeremy Epstein (Never Stop Marketing) for a case study. He makes 1,300 phone calls each year to wish a happy birthday to people he wants to stay in touch with. Some days he calls two people, some days 10--but they&#039;re all people with which he works to maintain a relationship.

Now I just have to come up with a habit that will work for me!
